The studio that
stays for the run.
Plenty of teams can put a pilot together. The harder job is the year after go-live, when the numbers have to keep moving and your on-call has to keep working. That’s what we’re here for. We’re a small, senior team in Bangalore. We pick engagements we’d be proud to leave behind.
A delivery partner, not a slide deck.
The companies that will win this decade are not the ones with the most pilots. They’re the ones who put AI on the critical path of the business, and kept it there. That work is mostly unglamorous. That’s fine. We like unglamorous work.
Most AI programmes fall apart between the working demo and the resilient, observable, regulated system the business actually runs on. Safemode is the team you call when that gap is the whole job.
Small teams. Senior people. One accountable partner per engagement. Weekly outcome reviews against a scorecard agreed on day one. No sub-contracting. No junior ghost-writing. No statements of work you can’t read on a train.
Six rules we do not break.
These are the non-negotiables. They are how we pick engagements, how we staff them, and how we decide when to say no.
We score the work
Every engagement has a scorecard. Conversion, cycle time, cost per task, citizen satisfaction. Whichever number matters, that’s the one we agree on day one. We stop when the number moves. We rescope if it doesn’t.
Small, senior, named
Two to six people. All senior. All named on the contract. No hidden sub-contractors, no graduate rotation. The people you meet in the pitch are the people who write the code and take the 2 a.m. page.
Evaluation from the start
Evaluation harnesses, red-team harnesses, provenance and cost dashboards are built on day one. If a system can’t be watched, graded and improved, it shouldn’t be in production.
Pick the model for the problem
We’re not loyal to a vendor. We run the model that fits the outcome, the latency budget, and the security team. Frontier, open-weights, or a local fine-tune behind a zero-trust boundary. The choice follows the problem, never the other way around.
Governance is a feature
PII and PHI redaction, policy-as-code, audit trails, human-in-the-loop review. These are design inputs, not compliance bolt-ons. What your CISO asks for on Friday is what we wrote on Monday.
We stay on the phone
An engagement doesn’t end at go-live. We run 24/7 ops, quarterly business reviews and an open Slack channel for as long as the system is in production and the relationship is working.
Senior operators. All of them.
A standing bench of specialists rather than a generalist consultancy. Every engagement is staffed from this bench, by name, for the full duration.
Embedded partners who own the outcome end-to-end, from strategy through to the production SLA.
Senior full-stack, ML and platform engineers. No juniors written into your statement of work.
Research-trained practitioners for agents, evaluation, fine-tuning, retrieval and guardrails.
Analytics, pipelines, governance and the dashboards your CFO will actually open.
Interaction and interface design for AI surfaces that humans actually trust. Operators, citizens, customers.
24/7 pager, model drift watch, cost control and the quarterly review that keeps the system honest.

Thirty minutes with someone who’d be doing the work. No slide deck, no intake form. We’ll tell you what’s feasible, where you’ll hit friction, and what we’d pick up first.
