Safemode (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting the personal data of the people who visit our website, send us a brief, book a call with us or engage us in a delivery programme. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We only collect personal data that you give us, or that we need to run the service you are asking us for.

  • Contact details. Your name, work email, company, role and anything else you include in a brief or booking form.
  • Engagement data. Messages, documents and materials you share with us during a scoping call or active engagement.
  • Technical data. Anonymised analytics about how you use the website (pages visited, approximate location, device type). We do not use this for individual-level profiling.

2. How we use it

  • To reply to your brief, schedule a call, or propose a Safemode engagement.
  • To deliver a signed engagement, including design, build, evaluation and operations work performed under contract.
  • To improve our own service: understanding what content is useful, what questions recur, what we should be writing about.
  • To meet legal, regulatory and audit obligations that apply to the work we do.

3. Third-party processors

We use a small number of vetted third-party services to run this website and respond to inbound contact: a forms provider (Web3Forms), a scheduling provider (Cal.com), and a static hosting provider (Netlify). Each of these receives the minimum data required to perform its function. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

4. Client engagement data

Personal or sensitive data shared with us under an active engagement is handled under the terms of that engagement, including any confidentiality, security and data-handling clauses agreed in writing. Where we process client data inside a Safemode environment, we do so inside a zero-trust boundary with an audit trail and a documented retention policy.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, port or delete the personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to object to our use of your data for a specific purpose, or to withdraw a consent you previously gave. Write to us at info@safemode.in and we will respond within a reasonable period.

6. Data retention

We retain contact and engagement data only for as long as we have a legitimate reason, typically the duration of our relationship plus the period required to meet accounting, regulatory or audit obligations. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Security

We apply industry-standard controls to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access control, logging and regular review of our production environments. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected individuals and regulators promptly if a material breach occurs.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page, with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
